K has just been to our pumpkin patch to pick the perfect one to put on our autumn nature windowsil. We are leaving some in the garden to carve on Hallowe'en and to make pumpkin soup. If there are enough left over, we hope to decorate our front steps with pumpkins the week leading up to the 31st October. The pumpkins looked so pretty with the late morning dew still glistening on their bright orange skin in the Autumn sunshine.
