(The scent of daffodills are filling our room right now. They are in full bloom at the top of our garden)
This weekend we went to our local garden centre and got:
My husband has dug two potato patches. I got in touch with the lovely Sara from Farmama last summer for her advice because unfortunately some of our crop had to be thrown away as they had tiny holes in them. She thought that they were caused by a pest called wireworms and to make sure we plant them somewhere else in our garden this year. I hope they don't come back to visit! It's horrible to have to throw away home grown vegetables. The grow-bags are now in the green house ready for cherry tomatoes, salad tomatoes, cherry plum tomatoes, salad leaves, cucumbers, and rocket.
