(Unrelated picture of K finding a little daisy all by itself amongst the Autumn leaves.)
K hasn't been feeling very well this week so she hasn't been in school for the past two days. She seems to be over the worst now, well, that was what I figured when she came hopping into our bedroom on one leg first thing this morning. So she went back to school today.
It seems like it has hit me and little L now. We're trying to stay warm. I'm drinking peppermint tea while L is sipping her natural Orange and Passionfruit squash. Even though she isn't eating very much at least she is staying hydrated.
Seeing my little ones looking sad and poorly made me think back to a blog post I read over on Are So Happy recently. She writes about setting up her medicine cabinet ready for going into Autumn and having herbal teas ready to sooth sore tummies and fresh lemon to add to warm water and honey to help sore throats. I might also try some of these Feel-Better Pops incase my girls get a raised temperature. They might make them a feel a little better and get some healing herbs into them at the same time.
